Who can apply for Singapore PR?
Spouses of citizens or PRs; unmarried children under 21 of citizens or PRs; aged parents of citizens aged 21+; Employment Pass and S Pass holders; students who have passed a national exam or are in the Integrated Programme (with more than 2 years' residence); and Global Investor Programme investors. How many years must I work here first?
None published: ICA states that an EP or S Pass holder can submit an application for its consideration, and sets no minimum period. Employment Pass to PR.
Can Work Permit or Dependant's Pass holders apply?

What is a Re-Entry Permit?
The permit that keeps your PR while you travel; since 1 December 2025, leaving without one or missing the 180-day window means losing PR. Re-Entry Permit.
Will my son have to serve National Service?
Sons granted PR through a parent or as students are liable; first-generation work-pass (PTS) main applicants are administratively exempted (MINDEF), and ICA says Investor Scheme main applicants may be exempted. National Service.
When can I apply for citizenship?
