How to choose a Singapore PR or immigration consultant
Most people can apply for Singapore PR themselves through the ICA e-Service. A consultant is worth paying for organisation, completeness and a second pair of eyes — never for influence over ICA, which states it has no affiliation with any migration agency and does not endorse consultancy services. Ask for a written scope and quote, check that nothing is guaranteed, and walk away from anyone promising approval.

- Keep you organised across a process that can take six months or more.
What nobody can do

Fees
Fee ranges circulating online are third-party estimates and vary by scope and firm. Treat them as such, ask for a written quote, and remember the government fees are fixed and small by comparison: S$100 at submission and S$120 at completion of formalities. Cost guide.

Is a law firm better than a consultancy?
For an ordinary application, the work is document preparation and review either way. Legal advice matters where there are complications — criminal records, immigration history issues or complex family circumstances.
Can a consultant submit on my behalf?
You or your sponsor submit through Singpass and make the declarations personally. A consultant can prepare and check, not declare for you.
