Is this the same as MOM's Self-Assessment Tool?
No. MOM's Self-Assessment Tool is the official check and is available to employers through an EP eService account. This calculator applies the same published rules — the qualifying salary by age and the COMPASS bands, with MOM's C1 benchmarks for every sector — so a candidate can see where an offer stands before the employer applies. It cannot see what only the employer knows, such as its workforce figures, which is why those answers can be left as unsure.
